Accounting Manager

The Manager of Accounting maintains the general ledger and its subsidiary ledgers to ensure the accurate accounting and reporting of BJCTA’s financial and statutory reporting.

Digital Media Specialist

The Digital Media Specialist is responsible for creating and managing digital content to promote the BJCTA brand, products, or services across various online platforms.

Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities at a company or organization. Takes steps to measure, enhance, and enrich the position and image of a company through various goals and objectives.

Bus Operator - Fixed Route

A Bus Operator/Fixed Route is responsible for providing safe, courteous, and on- time transportation to the general public. Under close supervision, operates commercial public transit buses/coaches in the MAX service area. Positions in this job classification are considered safety sensitive and are subject to drug testing, including random drug screens, in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol regulations.

 

Building Custodian

The Building Custodian performs a variety of manual tasks in the care and cleaning of buildings. The Building Custodian will be responsible for work that involves specific and routine operations.

Bus Shop Maintenance Assistant

Under general supervision washes interior, exterior of buses and cleans interior and exterior shop areas. Works shifts, including nights and/or weekends. Positions in this job classification are safety sensitivity.

Fleet Technicians

Maintain, repair and/or rebuild all gas, diesel, Electric, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles owned and operated by BJCTA. Equipment ranges from light to heavy duty vehicles.

Paratransit Operator

The Bus Operator/Paratransit provides passengers with safe and efficient operational service. Under close supervision, operates commercial pubic transit buses/coaches in the MAX service area. Work is monitored and reviewed through observation and through passenger response. Positions in this job classification are considered safety sensitive and are subject to drug testing, including random drug screens, in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol regulations.

Service Attendant  

Under general supervision, checks levels and dispenses fuels, cleans and services buses. Works shifts include nights and/or weekends.

Sr. Accountant

The Senior Staff Accountant reviews and processes for payment purchase orders, invoices, statements, vouchers, and/or other check requests, as appropriate. Draws, verifies, and posts payment checks, and prepares ledger entries. Handles the resolution of account discrepancies and procedural inquires. Performs general ledger account reconciliations.
